Hello,
My name is Jeff Maron and I am primarily a landscape photographer. I have lived approximately 50 years in the Chilliwack area and during my recent years have turned to photography to capture the surrounding beauty. Rather than taking photos of tourist destinations I enjoy backpacking into remote areas off the beaten path looking for no-name waterfalls and the flora and fauna of the area. My photography passion is Harrison Lake both the West and the East side including Harrison Hot Springs and the surrounding area such as the Chehalis River. I also focus on the Chilliwack River Valley and many other gorgeous areas around British Columbia. I absolutely love British Columbia and I feel the beauty should be shared with nature lovers worldwide.
At this time I only have a facebook page to showcase my photography skills however I am currently working on a photo portfolio. My facebook page can be seen here: Facebook

I am currently involved in the Chehalis (Sts’ailes) Trail system project with the provincial government and the Chehalis Native Band. My role is to record the construction of the trail system and the finished result. I am also responsible to photograph the flora and fauna of the area that tourists see from walking the trail. This includes moss laden trees, mushrooms, spawning salmon, the Chehalis River and the eagle migration as well as other waterways and natural landscape features.
In addition, I have photographed various features of landscapes for West Harrison Camping & Reservations. These photos were for social media purposes to showcase the beauty surrounding various campgrounds such as Weaver Lake, 20 Mile Bay, Wood Lake and the Chehalis River Campground. The photos included waterfalls, lakes and various features within the campgrounds such as the campsites and picnic areas.
graphs & more.
My name is Jeff Maron and I am primarily a landscape photographer. I have lived most of my life in beautiful British Columbia. During my recent years I have turned to photography to capture the beauty and bring it inside to viewers who are not capable of visiting or enduring the physical challenge involved to reach these remote locations.
I think of my photography style as "making the inaccessible, accessible" bringing the view of inaccessible remote waterfalls and landscape inside the homes accessible to viewers.I love nothing more than photographing nature. The more difficult the access the more I like it. Stinging Nettle, Devil’s Club, Poison Ivy, steep cliffs, freezing cold, and swamp areas, I love it all, why?....because very few people will go to such places in hopes of shooting a unique photo.
