"Foley Lake"

The following photo was taken at Foley Lake, Chilliwack, B.C., Canada.

Finally! I thought, as I arrived at Foley Lake.  After driving through large potholes and bouncing around like a bobblehead occasionally testing the seatbelt as it snapped me back into the seat, I decided to park and take a short walk looking around the lake. I heard the ferocious sound of water and I desperately looked for the source through the 3am absence of light. I sighted the sound source across the lake and to my surprise it was a fairly large waterfall ; the complete view was obscured by some trees. I worked my way down to the lake and while moving up and down along the shoreline I tried to locate the best spot to photograph the falls. While standing at the shoreline among overhanging tree branches and large boulders I managed to place my tripod partially in the water and take the photo shown.
