Welcome To The Frosty Moss

“Frosty Moss”
This is a small delicate scene of hoar frost formed upon a cushion of moss in the Chilliwack River Valley, B.C., Canada. I particularly like the contrast of colour with the green moss as well as the texture. The soft moss and the spike like appearance of the cold hoar frost is a definite texture contrast that fascinates me. The photo reveals the fine detail in the frost as well as the moss which we all overlook while we head for our destinations. Sometimes it’s a good thing just to take time and “smell the roses” sort of speak.
I hope you like the photo.
